Maeve Owens: MV: : by the time she gets away
from Isaac's that morning, she's almost over an hour late to work.
She pushes the door open, glances around for Libby, and hurries
for the counter where she stows her bag.::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::is rearranging clothes on
a rack, but glances up when Maeve comes in:: Good morning. Everything
all right?
Maeve Owens: MV: ::she casts Libby a bright
smile, and once her bag is in place, she walks over to the rack,
and starts helping her straighten the clothes:: Oh, yeah, everything
is *fine*. Sorry I was late. I lost track of time. ::still smiling,
she shrugs::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::grins as the light catches
a certain object on Maeve's left hand:: Did he finally ask you?
Maeve Owens: MV: ::her hands still as her gaze
drops to the diamond on her finger.:: Yep. Last night. We told
the kids this morning.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::hugs Maeve:: Congratulations!
Maeve Owens: MV: ::;she laughs, and returns
Libby's hug:: Thanks. I guess that means you approve of this one?
YarnKittymon: LB: ::still smiling widely:: You
love him, right?
Maeve Owens: MV: ::she nods;quietly:: Yes. More
than anything.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::nods; softly:: Good. You
deserve that. ::smiles again:: I'm so happy for you!
Maeve Owens: MV: Thanks. Not so sure that I
deserve it, but thanks. ::she takes a deep breath, and looks back
down at the ring:: I just hope my luck changes. I wasn't even
married to him and I almost lost him. What if this just seals
his fate?
YarnKittymon: LB: ::puts a hand on Maeve's shoulder,
shaking her head:: But now you'll always be close to him, at least...you
can probably take better care of him.
Maeve Owens: MV: ::she takes a deep breath,
and forces the smile back on her face:: Yeah, maybe this time
I'll be better at it.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::smiles softly:: He'll be
all right.
Maeve Owens: MV: ::she nods:: I hope.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::smirks:: And so will you.
Maeve Owens: MV: ::her smile fades a bit:: Yeah.
Everything should be fine. ::she shrugs, and moves away to get
started on whatever else needs to be done::
