EVIL TWINS1909: :::a tall man with dark wavy black hair holding a small hand gun is lurking in a boat ahead of Ethan and Libby. He is crouched down, trying to hide but is listening to their conversation::::
SquirtLaWort: EM: that doesn't make sence why are you looking for a gunman if he'll just shoot you when he finds you? your looking to get shot or something?
YarnKittymon: LB: ::softly:: He shot Serena; she may be dead. I just wanted to find the party responsible...
EVIL TWINS1909: :::the man hears Libby mention the dead woman and crouches down a little lower, but makes the boat rock a little:::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::looks up at the boat; whispers:: Did you see that?
SquirtLaWort: EM: see what?
YarnKittymon: LB: I thought the boat moved...::pauses:: Sometimes lovers inside get...amorous; it may be nothing
EVIL TWINS1909: :::the man lets out a sigh of relief:::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::looks down:: I can't belive Serena got shot this is terrible.
YarnKittymon: LB: I should have stayed to help; I don't know what I was thinking...::suddenly stands in the boat, trying to get a better view of if anyone's in the one ahead::
SquirtLaWort: EM: What are you doing? sit down.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::does so, looking up at Ethan and pointing towards the boat, nodding::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::stands up to see what she's pointing at::
YarnKittymon: : ::there is a man in the next boat, crouched down::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::wispers to Libby:: Is that the guy?
YarnKittymon: LB: ::softly, but loud enough for the man to probably hear:: I think so.
EVIL TWINS1909: :::not thinking clearly the man jumps up, the boat rocking back and forth, and fires two shot at them, he looks around for an escape root and jumps into the water.::::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::though the man's aim isn't great, still has a bullet graze her forearm; shrieks::
SquirtLaWort: EM: Are you okay?!
YarnKittymon: LB: ::just whimpers a little, gripping the side of the boat, hard, and looking at the man (who's now stuck in barely waist-deep water)::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::looks angerly at the man and uses his telekinesis to force him under the water::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::jumps into the water and gose over to the man and takes the gun from him, then lets him back above water before he drowns::
EVIL TWINS1909: :::the man sputters, spitting water out of his mouth and tries to hit Ethan:::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::jumps back barly missing the hit, points the gun at the man:: Don't move.. or I'll shoot you!
EVIL TWINS1909: :::smirks at Ethan before pulling his arm back to take another swing:::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::leaning over the edge of the moving boat, looking back at them:: Ethan! ::suddenly, the man just outright disappears; Libby falls face-first into the water::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::surprized that the man disapeared at just the right time, turns and runs over to help Libby::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::her eyes are closed, and she's already inhaled some water; when she gets into the air, starts coughing, but doesn't wake::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::places her onto the boat:: Libby! wake up!
YarnKittymon: LB: ::is still bleeding a little from her side, onto her soaked dress; slowly opens her eyes, looking at Ethan, scared::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::smiles weakly at her, glad that she didn't drown, then notices the blood on her dress:: Libby..you're.. I've got to get you to a hospital.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::trembling:: It hurts, Ethan...I'm going to die...I...love you anyway, even if it's wrong...
YarnKittymon: : ::her wound doesn't seem that bad; the bleeding's pretty slight::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::holds her:: It's okay you're not going to die, I pomise.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::is still trembling, with cold and fear::
YarnKittymon: : ::they get to the exit of the ride--by now the park is being evacuated, and there's one worker to show everyone out of the park; he just looks astonished at the passengers::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::carries Libby out of the ride, notices all the people runing out of the park and wonders if the guy is still out shooting others in the park::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::murmurs:: Alex...
SquirtLaWort: EM: What about Alex, ::follows all the poeple towards the exit::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::softly:: He did...something; I can feel it...
YarnKittymon: : ::the hairs on Libby's arms are sticking straight up, and most the running people's clothes crackle with static electricity::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::mubbles:: I hope not. ::has a feeling that he might have done something:: Just don't worry about that right now. ::reachs the exit and asks someone nearby to call an ambulance::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::murmurs:: Blood on your shirt...
YarnKittymon: : ::there's a couple ambulances that pull up just a minute after they get to the entrance--just a short distance away from the Freak Show::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::looks down at his shirt:: It's okay.. ::see the ambulances:: Look, here's some ambulaces, your going to be fine. I told you.
YarnKittymon: LB: That's what they told Rudy...::sits up and manages to put her lips on Ethan's cheek::
SquirtLaWort: ((who's Rudy?))
YarnKittymon: ((Valentino, though Ethan probably hasn't heard Libby ranting about him at least ^_^; Whether he'd put the two together (he died about two years "ago") is up to you))

YarnKittymon: : ::one of the nurses tries to get Libby free of Ethan so they can get her into the ambulance::
JopDance: jm: ::comes out to see what all the noise is; eyes go wide when she sees Libby and Ethan; runs up to them:: What happened!?
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::hands Libby over to the nurse::
SquirtLaWort: EM: She got shot, but she's going to be okay.. I think
YarnKittymon: : ::when they get a better look at Libby's wound, they keep her outside of the ambulance, and start cleaning it up right there on the street::
JopDance: jm: Will she be all right? Who shot her?
SquirtLaWort: EM: Libby told me some guy shot Serena.. So she followed him and he shot her as well. ::shakes his head:: just when I had him he disapeared.
YarnKittymon: : ::a doctor and a couple nurses just work on Libby for a little while, amid staring passers-by, who the police try (and fail) to contain::
JopDance: jm: That's terrible. I hope he's found.
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::sighs:: Yeah I hope so. Do you know where the other are? I want to know if Serena is alright.
JopDance: jm: ::shakes her head:: They all went to the park. What happened to Serena? Did they shoot her too?
SquirtLaWort: EM: Yeah I just told you the guy who shot Libby shot Serena earlier.
YarnKittymon: : ::the doctor finally approaches Ethan:: Are you her husband?
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::looks down:: No.
YarnKittymon: : Boyfriend?
JopDance: jm: I'm sorry, I guess I wasn't listening. ::looks at ambulence quietly::
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::looks embarssed and feels a bit ashamed:: Yes, I suppose you could say that.
YarnKittymon: : Close enough. If she stays off her feet for the next few days, she should be fine. She doesn't seem to have lost much blood, but she's pretty weak, for some reason.
SquirtLaWort: EM: Thank you doctor. ::smiles and turns to Jasmine:: Libby's going to be okay.
JopDance: jm: ::smiles:: I heard.
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::goes over to Libby:: Come on I'm going to take you home, you don't need to go to the hospital.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::looks up at Ethan softly:: I'd marry you...if I could...
SquirtLaWort: EM: ::takes her over to the Freak Show dosen't say anything::
JopDance: jm: Do you want anything? I could bring you something.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::softly:: No...I feel so weak...
JopDance: jm: Well then...you should rest.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::tries to sit up:: Everyone must be in trouble!
JopDance: jm: ::gently pushes her back down:: In trouble? Why?

JopDance: jm: ::bites lip, unsure of what to do:: What happened? Do you know if Serena's all right?

JopDance: jm: Find who?
YarnKittymon: LB: Whoever shot her...I should've just tried to help...wouldn't've got killed...shot...
JopDance: jm: ::turns pale:: Killed? ::shakes head:: But you shouldn't be thinking about that now; you should rest.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::softly, her eyes almost closed:: Tired...made 'im disappear...don't know...how long...
JopDance: jm: ::is worried, but tries to appear calm:: I'm sure everyone's all right; maybe they'll come over here when they're done at the park.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::her eyes closed:: Shoulda...changed my dress...::it's soaked through::
JopDance: jm: ::turns a faint shade of red:: I should have thought of that; where do you keep your clothes?
YarnKittymon: LB: ::more awake:: In the trunks. Never mind; the sheets are all wet already.
JopDance: jm: ::feels useless:: Oh, all right.
YarnKittymon: LB: No...::sits up; gasps at the pain:: I'll use Becky's bed.
JopDance: jm: The doctor said you shouldn't walk.
YarnKittymon: LB: I shouldn't catch my death of cold either! Find me something dry, and you can help me across the room.
JopDance: jm: ::sighs and pulls something for Libby to wear out of the trunk; she holds it for Libby to see:: Will this do?
YarnKittymon: : ::it's a nightgown-type thing, winter clothing::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::softly:: Fine. I'm sorry I snapped at you...I'm cold and tired.
JopDance: jm: ::smiles a little:: That's ok; do you need my help putting it on?
YarnKittymon: LB: ::unbuttons her dress, her fingers trembling:: Not if you're shy to.
JopDance: jm: No, I'm fine. ::walks over with the night gown::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::her dress is cut through on one of the sides, so the doctor could sew up the wound and put gauze over it--she gets out of her dress and into her nightgown with Jasmine's help::
JopDance: jm: ::helps her to Becky's bed::
YarnKittymon: LB: ::softly:: Thank you...you can go home...don't have to be bored here...
JopDance: jm: I'm not borerd and I want to be sure you're all right.
YarnKittymon: LB: ::half-smiles:: I've never done anything so nice for you....tried to buy you a drink is all...

(and then Jasmine said something really neat about that being payment enough but somehow I didn't save the rest of their conversation ^^; No great confessions were lost, at any rate. Sorry. -_- )
